The UNICEF-supported centre provides temporary care and support for trafficked children while authorities search for their parents, or until they are placed in longer-term residential care if their parents cannot be traced. Parents, unaware of the dangers and desperate to provide their children with a better life \u0096 where they are well fed, well cared for, and can go to school \u0096 are often persuaded by traffickers to give up their children. These children can then end up begging on the streets, working as domestic servants for little or no pay, and e","created_timestamp":"0","copyright":"\u00a9 Notice: UNICEF photographs are copyrighted and may not be reproduced in any medium without written permission from authorized","focal_length":"0","iso":"0","shutter_speed":"0","title":"NYHQ2011-2241","orientation":"0","keywords":["12 to 18 years old","boy","children without parental care","Haiti","refugee"]}},"post":6,"source_url":"https:\/\/www.socialscienceinaction.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/01\/vision.jpg","filename":"vision.jpg","filesize":132777,"_links":{"self":[{"href":"https:\/\/www.socialscienceinaction.org\/fr\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/media\/772","targetHints":{"allow":["GET"]}}],"collection":[{"href":"https:\/\/www.socialscienceinaction.org\/fr\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/media"}],"about":[{"href":"https:\/\/www.socialscienceinaction.org\/fr\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/types\/attachment"}],"author":[{"embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/www.socialscienceinaction.org\/fr\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/users\/1"}],"replies":[{"embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/www.socialscienceinaction.org\/fr\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/comments?post=772"}],"wp:attached-to":[{"embeddable":true,"post_type":"page","id":6,"href":"https:\/\/www.socialscienceinaction.org\/fr\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/pages\/6"}],"curies":[{"name":"wp","href":"https:\/\/api.w.org\/{rel}","templated":true}]}}
