A new survey has launched seeking to understand how humanitarian practitioners are addressing gender-based violence (GBV) risk within the context of their operations during COVID-19.

The Gender-based Violence & COVID-19 Survey includes a 30-minute online survey on gender-based violence (GBV) risk mitigation and COVID-19 in humanitarian settings. It is available in 6 languages and practitioners working in the humanitarian field – especially those in non-protection sectors -are being encouraged to participate. Experiences and insights will help strengthen GBV risk mitigation in the context of COVID-19.

The survey is being conducted by researchers at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, in partnership with UNICEF, CARE, and the Harvard Humanitarian Initiative (HHI).
